Been going here and recommending others do the same for many years. Top quality folks, skiing, and cafe combine to make a wonderful experience. So many great outdoor adventures in the area it's worth going even if no snow on the ground!

A casual, fun atmosphere with staff who are passionate about sharing their love of cross country skiing. It has customers who have been skiing there for years. Despite being busy, the staff take the time to give you the individual attention you might need. Take a skiing lesson from Tony, he's an excellent teacher. The trails are beautifully groomed and there are trails for all levels of expertise - rolling trails for beginners to steep downhills through the woods and even a popular old downhill slope. Great food, too. The prices are very reasonable and the friendly owner is not out to make money but instead wants to ensure that people enjoy their visit.
Best cross country ski community in the state! (If not the east coast!) Amazing staff, cosy cabin, and most importantly absolutely stunning skiing!
White Grass is delightful! The staff was friendly and helpful. Two friends and I wanted to try cross-country skiing and needed equipment rentals and access to their trails. They were enthusiastic and provided lots of suggestions for novices like us who were trying it out for the first time. The Snow Farming technique they use instead of making fake snow keeps energy use and therefore their costs low, so we had fun all day on the trails without spending nearly the same as we have on downhill skiing lift passes. When we returned the next day, multiple people remembered us and welcomed us back. The lodge had delicious food and hot cocoa for reasonable prices too. We didn't partake, but they were advertising free or inexpensive snowshoeing and kids activities on Sundays. Fantastic fun for the whole family!
