Nice clean hot water and water pressure.. for $70 what more do you want. Yes it's dated but the staff was super friendly it's clean and within minutes of everything
My wife and I stayed here three-four times already. It is a nice place, close to both Canaan and Timberline ski areas (5-10 min by car). Rooms are clean, sheets are clean as well. The water in shower is really hot, which is nice after skiing. The staff is very friendly, they let us use their dryer for our ski wear at no charge. Have realistic expectations - this is a quiet simple place to stay over night, not a resort or casino. I am going to stay there over and over (as it is so much cheaper then resort) and definitely recommend to consider. P.S. also every time we stay there it is quiet in hotel (no loud visitors, parties, etc)
We travel to WV at least twice a year and our favorite place to stay is the Canaan Village Inn. The beds are so comfortable and management is wonderful. It is a quiet area and a great place to stay when you are away from home. WV is a wonderful place to visit.
