The wilderness was absolutely spectacular. Wife and I stayed in the cabins. They were well maintained. They were quaint. The beds were comfortable enough to get some sleep on. Friends of ours stayed in the other cabins and we all enjoyed ourselves. The old reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because the state park workers were rude. As I was loading my car up to go out for a few, a pickup truck blasted down my cabins driveway. The men got out quickly, but didn't address me. I said, "Can I help you?" They said that they were there to pick up the garbage. It was a rude encounter and was slightly unnerving.
Beautiful setting. Facilities were good. Great breakfast.
The falls are stunning. Friendly staff. Clean accommodations. The fireplace in the lobby is so cozy. Continental breakfast. Kid friendly activities. Awesome trails. Loved it!
Very nice lodge in Black Water Falls State Park. Friendly staff. Very clean. Hand made, natural toiletries. Minutes away from the most beautiful preserved water fall! I highly recommend staying here.
We stopped by for breakfast after checking out of our cabin. Staff was wonderfully friendly and we enjoyed the meal. We hope to be back.
