Breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent. friendly staff, homemade food and happy experience. Try the sausage gravy!
Spent a 3 day weekend here, enjoyed our stay. Very reasonably priced, especially since a breakfast from their restaurant is included in your stay (try the Pumpkin Pancakes if they have them). The owner is extremely knowledgeable of the region and can recommend good hiking and sightseeing. Building is an old boarding house for lumberjacks in the early 1900's, so things are rustic, but by no means is the place run down (they do have WiFi). Quaint inn full of antiques and charm, will definitely book here when we return to Davis and the Canaan region.
This is our third trip to Davis, WV. We have always made a point to have breakfast at the Inn, but this is our first time staying overnight. The Inn is very cozy, and Susan, the innkeeper, is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent, and I always look forward to the experience.
My husband and I spent a staycation weekend at the Bright Morning Inn for our anniversary this year. Susan and her staff made us feel so welcome. We were well-rested and well-fed. We called ahead to see what vegan options were available for breakfast and were assured we would be accommodated. We were not disappointed. Both mornings, the restaurant was able to come up with vegan options for us which were wholesome and filling. We will definitely be back for an extended stay.
Last day in Davis and stopped here for breakfast. It was so good. Great service too. My whole party highly recommends Bright Morning.
