Very friendly staff. Nice clean rooms and bathrooms. It was a quiet place. Nice view. Close to ski area (it was very important since we went there for skiing). They need to update pool / jacuzzi / saunas / shower / gym area with nice towel service. Lack of restaurants choices on the property. If you are still sleeping or put "don't disturb" hang by the door when housekeepers comes, they won't clean your room unless you personally ask at the front desk later. They have a lot of unused conference rooms / spaces. It will be nice to have some complementary coffee or / and cookies at the lobby. Overall we had a very nice stay for a state operated facility. Highly recommended if you are looking for relaxing and nice family get away.
The staff and very friendly and professional. Someone was always cleaning. Our room was nice. There were wild deer that would come right up to the balcony. It was nice and quiet and peaceful. Lots of activities for the kids.
We stayed for NYE and had a great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed all that there is to offer from the snow tubing to the skiing to the heated sauna to the NYE dinner and live band party as well as the New Year’s Day buffet breakfast. Just make sure to make reservations prior, especially on a busy night like NYE. Also, check in can happen in the late afternoon, their policy is 4pm. They do their best to honor prior, but that is not always the case. Our room wasn’t ready, but Lindsey at the front desk was extremely helpful and ensured we enjoyed our stay. Prices are great, recommend the upgrade to the suite with a fireplace. Will definitely be back!
Nice rooms and amenities. The arcade, pool, shuttle service are all quite good. The food at The Hickory is good, but we found the service there below average. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and may likely return. Good value for the price.
We went tubing together and had a great experience. All of the employees were great. The front desk employee was great. She was full of energy and made the experience even better. The tubes were great and the run down the hill was smooth and fast. It was worth every penny and we will go back in the future.
