Beautiful setting. Our unit was clean and well stocked. The porch looking out to the mountains was perfect for morning coffee. This place is perfectly located to get to all the beautiful places around Canaan Valley.
Very clean units as the first thing that comes to mind. They are old units, but great regular maintenance and well cleaned gives it a nice woodsy feel, but still modern in the places that count like flatscreen tv and ac. They also have free on site activities like mini gulf, playground, outdoor pool/ a few hot tubs with jets scattered around, volleyball, and tennis. The negatives were the wifi sucks for anyone who really needs that but if you don't care this doesn't matter. On the other hand it is the only place around that has 1x cell service and not no connection. The other thing and that comes up a lot on RCI comments is that the office staff aren't the friendliest but not absolutely horrible.
